SpeculatingStocks.com Stock Pick: CPI Aerostructures, Inc. (CVU)

Stock Price: $6.59

CPI Aerostructures, Inc. is engaged in the contract production of structural aircraft parts for the U.S. Air Force, other branches of the armed forces and leading prime defense contractors. In conjunction with its assembly operations, CPI Aerostructures provides engineering, technical and program management services.

CVU just received a contract valued at $6.9 million from the US Air Force. This contract took the company's current contracts up nearly 100% to $28.5 million (first nine months) when compared to this time last year. CVU is trading at a market cap of only $35.90 million.

For the third quarter, the company lost $12,577, or $0.01 per share. The company expects net income of $2.0 million in 2007. This would equate to an EPS of $0.36 and a strong net income growth rate.

CVU traded at $10.00 earlier this year and should see that level again especially with the momentum of the contract they received. CVU traded its second highest volume amount of the year yesterday on the news.
