Displays important links to navigate Pulse including My Stream, My Profile and Send a Pulse. This box will always show up at the left side while within Pulse.
Home: This is the stream that you
have customized based on what you are following, it
is set up for your personalized viewing. The stream
found at "Home" is a custom stream of your pulses including pulses from users, symbols and SpecStream components that you are following,
pulses created by you, pulses echoed by you, and
this stream also shows pulses from other users who
have publicly messaged (@'d) you. The right column on this page displays your 1)
My Public SpeculatingStocks Pulse Link, 2) About You, 3) Stocks You May Like, 4) Pulse Connections, 5) Who to Follow.
My Profile: (Your Public SpeculatingStocks Pulse Link) –
This is the stream other users see when they view you.
This is a public view of your stream which includes pulses
created by you, pulses echoed by you and the stream
also shows pulses from other users who have publicly
messaged (@'d) you, which you can delete (x) from your
public stream. The right column on this page displays information that other Pulse user’s and SpeculatingStocks visitors are able to see including: 1) Your Information box 2) Your Stats box, 3) About You, 4) Stock Sites that You Visit.
Send a Pulse: Click to be able to send a Pulse, which will be public and able to be seen by SpeculatingStocks Pulse users and SpeculatingStocks visitors. You will be able to see your Pulse in your stream.
Important Note: When mentioning a symbol in your pulse content, put the "$" tag in front of the symbol, so that your post shows up in that symbols respective symbol stream. I.E. $AAPL.

My Public SpeculatingStocks Pulse Link: This is the link to your SpeculatingStocks Pulse Profile page. Use this link to guide others to your page or quickly enter your Pulse environment.
About You: Metrics of your activity within Pulse including the number of Pulses you created, number of times you placed a
'buy' or 'sell' sentiment and your current B/S (buy to sell) ratio, bio, disclosures (if set in Settings), etc.
Stocks You May Like: Displays currently trending stocks that you may like according to your market cap settings within your “Customize” tab under Settings.
Pulse Connections: Your current connections within Pulse including who is following you and which Pulse users, SpecStream Components and Symbols you are following as well as Pulse users who have placed a
'buy' sentiment on any of your Pulses.
Who to Follow: Suggestions for other Pulse users to follow based on your market cap preference.
My Profile (Right Side Column)
<username box>: Displays your full name, username and gives users the ability to follow, @ or message you.
<username>’s Stats: Metrics of your activity within Pulse including the number of Pulses you created, number of times others have placed a
'buy' or 'sell' sentiment on your pulses as well as which Pulse users, SpecStream Components and Symbols you are following and how many times you have placed a
'buy' or 'sell' sentiment on another Pulse user’s pulse posts.
About <username>: Displays your bio, disclosures (if set in Settings), your website as well as what type of stocks you are interested in according to market cap range.
Stock Sites <username> Visits: Displays stock sites that you like to visit according to your 3 Stock Market Related URL’s within your “Customize” tab under Settings.
Global Streams
Streams that record all Pulses in given categories.
PulseStream: Displays in real-time all pulses sent out by users and programs (such as SpecStream components) across the SpeculatingStocks Pulse platform.
SpecStream: Displays in real-time all pulses sent out by the SpecStream components within the SpeculatingStocks Pulse platform.
UserStream: Displays in real-time all pulses sent out by users across the SpeculatingStocks Pulse platform.
EchoStream: Displays in real-time all pulses sent out by users that have been echoed and mention a symbol across the SpeculatingStocks Pulse platform.
Trending Stocks
Tool(s) to find trending stocks within the Pulse platform and other selected platforms.
Trending Stock Screener: Stock screener to discover trending stocks across the SpeculatingStocks Pulse SpecStream. Users are able to sort by Market Cap and an interval such as over the past 10-minutes, 1-hour, 1-day or all time. Fill in all three 1) Platform, 2) Market Cap and 3) Over the last and then hit “Find Trending Stocks” to display Trending Stock Screener Results. The results are ordered by 1 being the stock that is trending the most and the last result being the stock that is trending the least for that specific screen criterion.
Right Side Column:
Stocks You May Like from SpecStream: Displays currently trending stocks from SpeculatingStocks Pulse SpecStream that you may like according to your market cap settings within your “Customize” tab under Settings.
SpecStream Components
A display of all SpecStream Components. SpecStream Components display information on stocks that are showing up in certain selected categories.
Nasdaq After Hours Most Active: After Hours Most Active is interested in stocks that are generating the most volume on the NASDAQ in After Hours trading.
Nasdaq After Hours Losers: After Hours Decliners is interested in the stocks declining the most on the NASDAQ in After Hours trading.
Nasdaq After Hours Gainers:
AMEX 52 Week High: New 52-Week Highs is interested in stocks on the major exchanges that are reaching new highs in their 52-week chart.
Commodities:
Downgrades: Downgrades is interested in stocks that have recently been downgraded by analysts.
Economic Indicators: Economic Indicators is interested in following major indicators that affect the market including the Unemployment Rate, Consumer Price Index, Consumer Confidence, CEO Confidence and Durable Goods Orders.
Exchange Traded Funds: ETF's by Sector is interested in the top performing sectors as indicated by exchange traded funds.
Expected IPO's: IPO Buzz (Upcoming) is interested in upcoming initial public offerings (IPOs).
Stocks Gapping Higher: Stocks Gapping Higher is interested in stocks that have gapped higher recently.
Message Board: Message Board Buzz is interested in stocks that are being talked about the most on the message boards.
NASDAQ 52 Week High: New 52-Week Highs is interested in stocks on the major exchanges that are reaching new highs in their 52-week chart.
Nasdaq Pre-Market Losers: NASDAQ Pre-Market Losers is interested in the stocks declining the most on the NASDAQ in the Pre-Market.
NYSE 52 Week High: New 52-Week Highs is interested in stocks on the major exchanges that are reaching new highs in their 52-week chart.
Overseas Markets: Overseas Markets is interested in following the markets overseas including the Hang Seng, the NIKKEI, Shanghai, the XETRA, CAC 40 and the FTSE 100.
Nasdaq Pre-Market Gainers: NASDAQ Pre-Market Gainers is interested in the largest stock gainers on the NASDAQ in the Pre-Market.
Priced IPOs: IPO Buzz (Pricings) is interested in the latest initial public offerings (IPOs).
Recent Earning Surprises:
Sectors Top to Bottom: Sectors Top to Bottom is interested in the top performing sectors over the past five days.
Trending Industries: Trending Industries is interested in top industries over the past five days.
Trending Stocks: Trending Stocks is interested in stocks that are moving the most on the NASDAQ and AMEX exchange.
TV Buzz: TV Buzz is interested in stocks being talked about on TV.
Upgrades: Upgrades is interested in stocks that have recently been upgraded by analysts.
Uplisted Stocks: Uplisted Stocks is interested in stocks that have moved from the OTCBB or Pink Sheets to a higher exchange such as the AMEX or NASDAQ.

Top Right Box:
Search Box: Search Pulse
Send a Pulse Box: Click to be able to send a Pulse, which will be public and able to be seen by SpeculatingStocks Pulse users and SpeculatingStocks visitors. You will be able to see your Pulse in your stream.
Symbol Quote Box: Use this box to go to the requested symbol page within SpeculatingStocks.
User Dropdown Box: Your mini avatar and username, click box to dropdown to 1) Home 2) Settings 3) Support or 4) Logout.
Static Graphics:
Buy to Sell Ratio, which appears on 1) Pulse User pages, 2) Symbol Pages, 3) SpecStream Component pages and other locations. It factors in how many times a Pulse users have placed a 'buy' or 'sell' sentiment on the element in question. For example, if Pulse users placed a 'buy' sentiment on a stock for a total of 10 times and Pulse users placed a 'sell' sentiment on that stock for a total of 5 times, then that stock will display a B/S of +2
More on Buy to Sell Ratio:
User's are able to 'buy' or 'sell' individual posts of other Users as well as on stocks and SpecStream Components. This means placing a
'buy' or 'sell' sentiment.
In the case of User’s pulses, The "Buy to Sell Ratio" indicates how many times a User's posts were
'bought' compared to 'sold'.
- A positive (+) "Buy to Sell Ratio" indicates that the User's post were
'bought' more than 'sold'.
- A negative (-) "Buy to Sell Ratio" indicates that the User's post were
'sold' more than 'bought'.
'Buy' and 'Sells' are monitored by an unbiased party to keep the system as fair as possible in a subjective environment.

Middle Column
<symbol> Stream: Displays pulses that contain the symbol related to the stream. Pulses could be user pulses and/or SpecStream component pulses.
Right Side Column
<symbol> box top right: Company symbol, company name, current price and price movement as well as the ability for users to Follow the stock and/or place a
'buy' or 'sell' sentiment on the stock.
<symbol> B/S Today (Since 7 AM ET): The company’s B/S (buy to sell ratio) since 7 AM ET.
<symbol> Stats: Displays the number of follower’s that the stock currently has as well as the total number of buys and sells placed on the stock.
<symbol> Buy/Sell Stats: Displays Buy and Sell stats for the stock over several intervals such as how many times a
'buy' and 'sell' sentiment has been placed on a stock over the past 10-minutes or last 1-hour.
<symbol> Snapshot: Quick stock information such as the stock price, dollar move, percentage move, market cap as well as a link to the stock’s chart on BigChart as well as StockChart. Also displayed is the stock’s Website as well as industry and a short-description.
<symbol> Buzz: Recent press releases out of the company and third party headlines.
Settings:
Account: Your SpeculatingStocks Pulse Account information including your full name, username and email address as well as ability to change your current password.
Profile: This is where you can add your picture or change it as well as enter your Website link and a brief as well as any disclosures you'd like to make. Read more about Pulse User
disclosures.
Customize: This is where you can make Pulse work better for you. You can add stock market related URLs for quick access from your Profile page (which others see as well). The market cap ranges you select in this area affect who we suggest you to follow as well as what type of stocks we display in your “Stocks You May Like” boxes. Pulse users can also control which SpeculatingStocks SpecStream pages that they’d like to follow.

Step 1 After Above - Review and confirm account information entered on the page before.
Step 2 - Choose stocks to follow. We have created a tool to suggest stocks to you in certain market-cap ranges that you select. Click “follow” once the “Stocks Trending on SpeculatingStocks Pulse” is populated after pressing “Get Stocks.” Click “follow” beside the stocks that you’d like to follow then click “Next Step” to go to the next sign-up page.
Step 3 - Select SpeculatingStocks Pages and the SpecStream components in each that you would like to follow.
Step 4 - Follow Pulse users who are interested in the same market cap range as you to receive pulses on stocks that interest you.
